Mologix Data Systems is a software development company specialising in Factory Automation and Process Control. It's aim is to produce software that assists in the design, documentation and maintenace of todays ever changing control systems. The advent of standards within the industry such as OPC Server and IEC61131 mean that advantages can be leveraged in automating configuration of complex control systems. Packages to be released are: - ProcessView to assist in mapping ISA-S88-01 hierachies to acclerate configuration in systems such as Emerson's DeltaV and Siemens PCS7.
- TrackView is a tool for monitoring and documenting growing Ethernet control networks and monitoring Change Controls, ideally suited for service personnel who battle with service packs, security and spares.
- PlantLogix is a cost effective process simulator which can model plant characteristics. Using an OPC Server from Kepware, poweful scenarios can be configured using an easy flowchart diagram tool.
- AlarmLogix uses either OPC DA or OPC AE client depending on the SCADA to allow plug and play USB alarm beacons to monitor any combination of alarms even if the current user is logged out.
- Samosa Relay Server accepts emails and converts the message body into a standard SMS text using a GSM modem.
Future developments will include bulk import tools for large configuration projects to reduce design times, using UML type languages for functional specifications, auto-generating platform specific code to import. Our mission statement is to live up to our hook line... Mologix in control of information. |

Mologix today released Samosa Relay Server Version 1.0 Samosa Relay Server was primarily designed to overcome incompatability issues caused by SMS/pager packages for SCADA arlarm monitoring software, such as Wonderware's SCADALARM. Samosa Relay Server is a SMTP and SMS Server combined. It listens for emails and converts the email message body to a standard text message. Samosa Relay Server can be used with any ETSI 07.05 compliant GSM modem or phone handset connected to a COM port using a data cable or Bluetooth device. Early generation SCADA packeages have problems with PDU type text messages, however, could send emails, therefore Samosa Relay Server provides this link to enable your control system to text you when there's a problem. |
